Isn't that "controlled" picture something you would like around your pool? Well, we did and we were so excited to have the work done - we didn't really think the $16k for the job was that bad, not for the work they "appear" to do. Well, in real-life, the results are much different from the controlled, selected pictures they show on their site. We had some stamped, stained concrete added last year later in the season and this is where our nightmare, which is still going on today after a year, comes into play.
Before we show their real work, let me start out with the initial history. We had our new inground pool put in last year and before it was put in, we lined up concrete work to be done right after the pool was done being installed. Jim from Blount came out and was very pleasant, taking the time to talk about what they offer and what we could expect from the completed work. It all looked good, a bit expensive overall, but from the pictures of the work we saw, it was going to be worth it.
They came and did the job in a day - and from the start, we had issues. They said all of the issues would work themselves out as the stain dried and everything settled - so we waited a few weeks. Well they didn't get better, they got worse. Look at the pictures of their actual, real work - the stain looks awful - its spotty and makes the entire job look cheap.
